AraniEco: Tackle Grain-to-Liquid Toilet Cleaner

A premix that just needs to be added to water to create a thick, fragrant, and non-corrosive toilet cleaner. Our ingredients have been carefully chosen to be gentle but effective, and safe for the water bodies they drain into.

What’s in the pack?

The pack contains 160g grains diluting to 1.1+ litre toilet cleaner liquid (2 pouches of 80g each)

Why choose this?

Toilet Cleaners are quite indispensable to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in our washrooms. Unfortunately, most of them are quite harsh and corrosive, because an acidic component is required for this product to be effective. Generally, Hydrochloric acid is used in all toilet cleaners and it is quite toxic, as you can often tell from the fumes 🙁 Imagine what it does to the water it drains into.

Also, these liquids are packaged in thick plastic bottles that we discard when empty. These are mostly high-grade plastic and though theoretically recyclable, less than 15% would get recycled. So, most of this material would end up in a landfill.

Since the dominant ingredient (80%+) of toilet cleaner liquids is water and we have plenty of that at home, why not re-use our existing bottles and create some more when we run out? Great idea!

FULL INGREDIENT LIST: Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, Plant origin SLS needles, Food Grade Color

PACKAGING: The grains are packaged in a fully compostable pouch. This pouch can be added to a home composting unit or your garden soil and will break down under natural conditions in about 6 months. It is CPCB-approved and will also be accepted at a community or industrial composting unit near you. If not composting yourself, the best way would be to segregate and inform your waste collector about this material.
